Meet Our Counselors

Ellen Headshot.jpg

Ellen Larabee MA, LPCC

Owner and Counselor

My therapy style is empathetic, insightful, reflective, humorous and goal-affirming. "I have always had a "quirky" sense of humor and I love that I can bring that into session with me. Sometimes being able to laugh or to see the absurdity of life shakes loose the obstacles and anxiety.  I use elements from mindfulness, family systems and clinical hypnotherapy. My initial goal is to connect with you and your experiences in your world, ask questions, provide feedback, and use interventions to rebuild and reinforce your sense of self and your place in the universe."

Julie Dibble MS, LPC

Counselor

My therapy style is creative, engaging, fun and empowering. I have an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. "I enjoy working with children, teens and young adults to give them the tools to build a better life, not just renovate theirs. The earlier we are able to start teaching simple basics of concepts like boundaries, consent (yes/no/good/bad), and how to use their voices/skills to advocate for themselves and others, the sooner we will start seeing more compassionate, empathetic, helpful world leaders or even more friendly smiles on the street.

Melinda Rachelle Kostecky, LPAT

Counselor Trainee

My therapy style is  strength-based and compassion-focused using both mind and body.

compassionate, and solution-focused. I have a Master’s Degree and License in Art Therapy. I love being an art therapist and counselor in training because being a helping professional aligns with who I am as a person. As an artist and empath, I find beauty in seeing what is beyond the surface and I place value in the subtle details that often go unnoticed or disregarded. The best thing about being a therapist is witnessing the resilience and growth in people over time as they navigate adversity or transitions in their life. It is a privilege to walk alongside another person as they look inward, connect with the deepest parts of themselves, find meaning, and build healthy connections.
